When I travel abroad I enjoy finding signs and billboards that use the English language in ways that some might find amusing.  Most recently I was in Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore.  Shown below are some of my favorite signs from that trip.  (Click on a picture to see a full-size version of it.)

I saw this in a restaurant in "Little India" in Singapore.  It says, "Rodent Monitoring Station, Do Not Remove." Here's a sign I saw in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It's not what you think.  This car rental agency is in the peaceful, terrorist-free city of Chiang Mai.
Some things on this list of services are self-explanatory; some things I hope are NOT self-explanatory . . . Yes, I like to get a good deal on a hotel room, but I stayed clear of this particular establishment! Only in certain countries in Asia is it necessary, for the common good, to post signs like this.  This one was posted at the entrance to my hotel in Bangkok.  (Translation: "No Durian Allowed!"  Durian is an astoundingly aromatic fruit that one either loves or despises.
